Job summary

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is seeking an experienced pest control professional to oversee citrus IPM programs across multiple ranches in the United States. The role requires traveling between sites and maintaining a clean driving record and a valid PCA license.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of citrus pest control experience, a BS in Agriculture or plant science preferred, and the ability to follow fleet safety policies while ensuring regulatory compliance and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must follow Fleet Safety Program and Policies.
• Valid PCA license required.

Responsibilities

• Find insects, diseases, weeds and other organisms and implement IPM programs.
• Monitor and scout fields for economic thresholds.
• Evaluate chemical efficacy in fields.
• Correctly use chemicals for maximum fruit quality.
• Communicate with ranch managers to coordinate pesticide applications.
• Comply with California Department of Pesticide Regulations.
• Order chemicals and manage inventory.
• Manage field scouts.
• Coordinate pest control operations.

Job Overview

Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is looking for an optimistic, committed, and motivated candidate who has at least 5 years of experience with citrus pest control. This job will require traveling from one ranch to another which will require a valid California driver's license with a clean DMV record.

Duties / Responsibilities

Job duties include but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for finding insects, diseases, weeds and other organisms along with implementing IPM programs and writing recommendations
• Monitor and scout fields for economic thresholds
• Evaluate chemical efficacy in fields
• Correctly use chemicals for maximum fruit quality
• Communicate with ranch managers to coordinate pesticide applications
• Comply with California Department of Pesticide Regulations
• Order chemicals and keep inventory up to date
• Manage field scouts
• Coordinate pest control operations

Required Skills / Abilities

Physical Requirements

• Employee is regularly required to walk, stand for periods of time at workstation, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in extreme cold, heat, or humidity; and sometimes can include work in dusty or muddy work conditions

Pay offered/ Benefits

• $90,000 to $110,000 annually
