The purpose of the Personnel Technician III is to provide comprehensive administrative, clerical, and technical support for HR operations, which includes managing day-to-day office tasks, interpreting policies and collective bargaining agreements, organizing data and official records, and facilitating departmental communication.
This position is not a Telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
OPS employees who work an average of 30 hours or more per week are eligible to enroll in state group insurance plans. Standard PPO/HMO Options include:

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT: The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. This check must be completed before they can start working or volunteering.
