Responsibilities include:

1. Initiate or perform FBI indices checks, arrest record checks, and similar investigations to gather pertinent information.
2. Coordinate submission of investigative information, review reports for compliance with FBI regulations, and analyze investigative leads and procedures.
3. Prepare and submit recommendations for security clearance adjudication, including written and verbal reports with supporting data.
4. Participate in developing and revising security rules, regulations, and procedures, providing feedback to ensure program effectiveness.
5. Ensure government and personnel are informed of security risks and debrief individuals as necessary.
6. Conduct security briefings, including Security Awareness and Hostile Threat topics, updating content as needed.
7. Provide guidance on security issues to current employees and field office personnel.
8. Stay updated on new clearance methods and procedures, including SCI, FISs, EOs, and DOJ Orders.
9. Engage with internal and external customers to ensure program integration and leverage threat intelligence.
10. Perform duties associated with Level III responsibilities as needed.
