Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Technical Security Specialist focused on Personnel Security and Foreign Travel to support DCMA Headquarters and field offices. You will coordinate foreign travel briefings, manage travel requirements, and update security clearance systems such as DISS, while maintaining records per federal guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in personnel security, with knowledge of DISS, NISPOM, and DTS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in personnel security operations.
• Functional knowledge of DISS.
• Functional knowledge of the NISPOM.
• Familiarity with Remedy or ServiceNow ticketing.
• Operational knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of assets, personnel, and information per policies.
• Develop and integrate security procedures under guidance.
• Assist with DoD Foreign Clearance Guide and APACS for OCONUS travel.
• Schedule foreign travel briefings and ISOPREP; confirm DTS travel.
• Update DISS and EPSF records accurately.
• Maintain security databases and LMS tasks.
• Submit remedy tickets and coordinate reviews with customers.
• Edit technical documents and coordinate scheduling for assessments.
• Update and revise security manuals to align with standards.
• Collaborate with Team Lead on briefing packages and policy revisions.
• Coordinate with customers on assessment scheduling and feedback.
• Perform technical editing of assessments using government benchmarks.
• Update databases such as Access, SharePoint, and Power BI.
