Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate's degree or 72 college credits preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• First Aid and CPR certification, or ability to obtain.
• Fingerprint-based background check required.

Responsibilities

• Model respectful behavior and promote a positive learning environment.
• Complete required annual trainings by deadlines.
• Follow district/site attendance and absence reporting protocols.
• Assist licensed staff in planning and delivering instruction.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support.
• Help establish and reinforce classroom behavior expectations.
• Motivate students toward achievement of learning objectives.
• Record and submit student data as requested.
