Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command in Norfolk is seeking a Personalized Services Clerk to handle floral displays, engraving, gift wrapping, Western Union, mail processing, and Military Star Card-related duties. The role includes assisting customers at the Flower Shop and Personalized Services, plus accepting payments and managing special orders.

You will also support layaway, check cashing, and daily transactions, maintain displays, and help train new associates to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications

• 6 months clerical or retail experience
• GED or high school diploma acceptable
• Experience with customer service preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in floral arrangements and advise customers on options.
• Handle engraving, gift wrapping and personalized stationery orders.
• Process Western Union transactions and Military Star Card applications.
• Manage mail processing and packing of outgoing shipments.
• Perform cash register transactions and refunds as needed.
• Maintain store displays and contribute to customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training new associates as assigned.
