Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Lead for Personalization Operations in Olive Branch, MS.

The role supports the Operations Manager by guiding associates across personalization processes and ensuring daily productivity, quality, and on-time customer service. Key duties include directing workflow, training staff, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth order flow.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Ability to train and give operational direction in both languages.
  • Proficient with Excel, PKMS, RF Scanner, and AS400.
  • Able to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules.
  • Onsite role with safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong floor presence, directing and supporting associates in Personalization areas.
  • Control workflow and prioritize work to meet production and customer service deadlines.
  • Monitor productivity and quality, providing guidance to the Operations Manager as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to production, quality, part tracking, damage, and exception processes.
  • Identify and resolve workflow barriers, aging orders, and exceptions.
  • Train and develop associates on standard processes, equipment, and safety.
  • Collaborate with Techniques, QA, Packing, Picking, Inventory Control, and other teams to maintain flow.
  • Ensure orders are completed accurately and meet quality standards before progression.

The Distribution Center Lead - Personalization Operations is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager with leading associates across Personalization production, including Techniques and Packing, while ensuring daily productivity, quality, and customer service goals are met.

The Distribution Center Lead - Personalization Operations position is located in Olive Branch, MS.

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

  • Maintain a strong floor presence while directing and supporting associates across assigned Personalization areas
  • Control workflow and prioritize work to ensure production and customer service deadlines are met
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and process adherence throughout the shift; provide associates with operational direction as needed and communicate performance or recurring process concerns to the Operations Manager for follow-up.
  • Ensure associates follow established production, quality, part tracking, damage, and exception processes
  • Identify and resolve workflow barriers, aging orders, and exceptions to maintain continuous production
  • Train and develop associates on standard processes, quality expectations, equipment, and safe work practices
  • Partner with Techniques, QA, Packing, Picking, Inventory Control, and other operational teams to resolve issues and maintain order flow
  • Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and meet established quality standards before progressing through the operation

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
  • Able to effectively train, provide operational direction, and communicate processes and expectations in both English and Spanish.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PKMS, RF Scanner, and AS400
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize work, and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Able to take initiative and work with minimal direction
  • Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team
  • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules
  • Focus on maintaining a safe working environment at all times
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
  • This is an onsite and in office role

We prefer some of these qualities as well….

  • Experience with personalization, production, quality, picking, packing, or Inventory Control processes
  • Previous experience leading associates in a production or distribution environment
