Mountaineer Logistics Corp is seeking drivers to deliver packages using their personal vehicles in Avery, Ashe and Watauga counties. This FedEx Ground contractor role offers a full-time schedule (4–5 days per week) with a base pay of $25.00 per hour plus a vehicle reimbursement that is tax-free.

Qualified applicants must be 21+, own a reliable vehicle under 15 years old, pass background, MVR and drug tests, and have a valid driver's license. No prior commercial driving experience is required.

Mountaineer Logistics Corp is seeking highly motivated drivers to deliver packages from the comfort of their personal vehicle!

Pays $25.00 an hour:

• Pay consists of a base hourly rate plus a vehicle usage reimbursement (roughly 50/50). The reimbursement is NOT subject to taxes.

AND

• We pay for your fuel used while delivering!

Full Time Position (4 to 5 days per week, possibly more if desired)

The ideal candidate will be able to deal effectively with customers, maintain a positive FedEx image while making deliveries and managing area priorities effectively. The candidate will be punctual, self-starting and have a competitive drive. A sense of pride, maturity and reliability are key defining attributes.

The ideal vehicle will be fuel efficient while having high capacity and easy access for packages (think mid-size SUV and crossover vehicles). Vehicles must be in good mechanical and cosmetic condition and less than 15 years old (model year 2012 and newer) to meet required FedEx standards.

Candidates will agree to utilize their personal vehicle to deliver packages primarily in Avery County but also Ashe and Watauga counties as needed. This position is primarily on location and DOES NOT report to the terminal.
