PRO16-9 Logistics Corp is seeking highly motivated drivers to deliver packages from their personal vehicle in the Lincolnton area. The Full Time position offers $25.00 per hour plus a vehicle usage reimbursement and fuel reimbursement for deliveries, with shifts 4–5 days per week.

The ideal candidate is 21+, has a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and can pass background and MVR checks along with pre-employment and random drug screens. Report to the FedEx Ground terminal in Lincolnton.

Description

Pro16-9 Logistics Corp is seeking highly motivated drivers to deliver packages from the comfort of their personal vehicle!

Pays $25.00 an hour:

• Pay consists of a base hourly rate plus a vehicle usage reimbursement (roughly 50/50). The reimbursement is NOT subject to taxes.

AND

• We pay for your fuel used while delivering!

As a FedEx Ground contractor, we offer you the opportunity to represent a recognized world leader in package handling. Ideal candidates will be professional and customer-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Full Time Position (4 to 5 days per week, possibly more if desired)

The ideal candidate will be able to deal effectively with customers, maintain a positive FedEx image while making deliveries and managing area priorities effectively. The candidate will be punctual, self-starting and have a competitive drive. A sense of pride, maturity and reliability are key defining attributes.

The ideal vehicle will be fuel efficient while having high capacity and easy access for packages (think mid-size SUV and crossover vehicles). Vehicles must be in good mechanical and cosmetic condition and less than 15 years old (model year 2012 and newer) to meet required FedEx standards.

Candidates will agree to utilize their personal vehicle to deliver packages throughout our service area stretching from Shelby NC to Vale NC as needed. This position reports to work at the FedEx Ground terminal in Lincolnton NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow through and deliver all packages safely
• Complete all pick-ups assigned to route within the scheduled timeframe
• Deliver and scan every package according to proper procedure
• Meet and greet customers in a positive manner
• Safely operate personal vehicle
• Communicate promptly and effectively with management on time critical issues
• Maintain satisfactory condition of vehicle

Experience: No commercial driving experience required

License/Certification: Valid driver's license and at least 21 years old (required)

• Physical ability to regularly lift 50lb packages and maneuver up to 150lbs
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
