AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL, is seeking a qualified personal trainer to join our wellness team. The role involves tailoring fitness programs, conducting assessments, and guiding clients toward their health goals in a supportive environment.

You will maintain detailed records, demonstrate techniques, and provide nutrition guidance while ensuring safety across all workouts. PRN schedule with opportunities for professional growth within AdventHealth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience is required.
• Certifications: CPR/BLS, Personal Trainer Certification, First Aid/CPR/AED are required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust fitness programs based on clients' progress and feedback.

Job Description

Adjusts fitness programs as needed based on clients' progress and feedback.Maintains accurate records of clients' workouts and progress. Stays updated on the latest fitness trends and techniques through continuous education. Collaborates with other health and wellness professionals to optimize client outcomes. Ensures a clean and safe workout environment by maintaining equipment and facilities. Markets personal training services to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Designs personalized fitness programs tailored to clients' individual goals and needs. Conducts fitness assessments to evaluate clients' physical condition and track progress. Demonstrates and instructs clients on proper exercise techniques and equipment usage. Monitors clients during workouts to ensure safety and effectiveness. Provides motivation and support to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Educates clients on proper nutrition and lifestyle habits to complement their fitness routines.Other duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study

• Degree in Exercise Science or related field.

Work Experience

• 3+ experience in related field. [Required]
• Experience working with the Exercise is Medicine initiative and philosophy is preferred. [Preferred]
