Job summary

Eric Snow Family YMCA and Meyers Lake YMCA in Canton, OH are seeking a part-time Personal Trainer to provide individualized fitness programming to members. You will design and adjust plans to meet client goals, maintain accurate client records, and promote YMCA programs and events in a welcoming environment.

Strong communication and adherence to YMCA guidelines are essential. A four-year degree in Exercise Science or related field with CPR/AED certification is required, and ACE Foundations of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Exercise Science or related field.
• CPR/AED certifications required.
• Experience with diverse populations preferred.
• ACE Foundations of Strength & Conditioning within 60 days of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Maintains well-documented, accurate and pertinent information on each client.
• Follows through in a timely manner on initial communication with client.
• Designs, maintains, and adjusts individual programs specific to the client's needs and wants in accordance with National YMCA guidelines.
• Serves as a good role model by maintaining or improving their own personal fitness level.
• Supports Y programs, promotions, and events.
• Deals with each situation by using the YMCA Character Values.
• Develops and maintains community collaborations.
• Knows and abides by Y policies and procedures.
