Qualifications

• Current accredited personal training certification.
• 3–5 years of experience as a personal trainer.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred.
• BS in Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field.
• Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal evaluations to clients on fitness level by reviewing abilities, condition and health.
• Create personalized fitness routines to help clients reach goals.
• Teach proper exercise techniques to minimize injury.
• Monitor clients and adjust plans based on changes in fitness level.
• Enforce gym policies and safety rules to maintain a safe environment.
• Inform clients on other healthy lifestyle changes (diet, no smoking).
• Perform emergency first aid when needed.
• Clean and maintain all fitness equipment.
