Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Personal Trainer certification required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs aimed at goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients on safe use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening, history, lifestyle questionnaire and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, educate, and motivate members.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services; completes administrative requirements for each client’s plan.
• Documents all aspects of client programming and stays current on credentials and continuing education.
• Remains current on certifications and trends in the industry.
