Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a dedicated fitness professional to perform assessments and prescribe exercise programs at Maris Grove in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. This role involves educating seniors on fitness techniques and maintaining a safe environment. A minimum of one year of related experience and CPR/First Aid certifications are required. The position offers competitive compensation starting at $18.00 per hour, along with various offerings like medical benefits, PTO, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
• Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
• Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

Compensation

Starts at $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
