The YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Personal Trainer to provide one-on-one coaching and develop fitness routines that meet member goals. You will build a strong network of member relationships and grow a solid client base for personal training, including specialty programs as needed.
Work may require early mornings, evenings, and weekends; duties include designing, implementing, and leading fitness programs while maintaining high member service standards and staying abreast
The Personal Trainer provides professional and educated one‑on‑one training service to members and develops fitness routines that will satisfy member goals. The position is responsible for building a strong network of relationships with members, growing and maintaining a solid client base for personal training, and designing, implementing, and leading specialty programs as needed. This position may involve early morning, evening, and weekend responsibilities. Hours will vary based on client needs.
Performs any other functions deemed necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids Association.
$25.00 - $31.82 ; Part Time, Non Exempt (up to 25hrs/week)
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four‑year college or university; degrees in anatomy, kinesiology, exercise science, or biomechanics preferred or one to two years fitness, instructional, or personal training experience required.
