YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to provide one-on-one training, develop customized fitness routines, and help members achieve their goals. The role focuses on building a strong member network, growing a personal training client base, and leading specialty programs as needed.
The position requires morning availability 8:00-11:00am at Visser Family YMCA with responsibilities across instruction, coaching, and member service.
The Personal Trainer provides professional and educated one-on-one training service to members and develops fitness routines that will satisfy member goals. The position is responsible for building a strong network of relationships with members, growing and maintaining a solid client base for personal training, and designing, implementing, and leading specialty programs as needed.

Performs any other functions deemed necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids Association.
$25.00 - $31.82 ; Part Time, Non Exempt (up to 25hrs/week)
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university; degrees in anatomy, kinesiology, exercise science, or biomechanics preferred or one to two years fitness, instructional, or personal training experience required.
