Job summary

HP’s Personal Systems team is seeking an Intern to support product management for computing peripherals and related software experiences. You will conduct market, competitive, and user research while contributing to concepts addressing customer needs and emerging opportunities.

You will help define user needs and product requirements, analyze data for actionable insights, and collaborate across product, design, engineering, and business teams.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with strong analytical skills.
  • Interest in product management and technology products with ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience with data analysis and user research is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market, competitor, and user research to inform concepts.
  • Analyze data and translate findings into product insights and requirements.
  • Support planning for computing peripherals and software experiences.

Personal Systems Product Management Intern

Description

This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). Interested candidates must be currently eligible to work in the US AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. Job Description

Join HP’s Personal Systems team and support product management initiatives for personal computing peripheral devices and related software experiences. You will conduct market, competitive, and user research while contributing to product concepts that address customer needs and emerging market opportunities.


Responsibilities


  • Conduct market, competitor, and user research.

  • Analyze data and translate findings into actionable product insights.

  • Support concept planning for computing peripherals and software experiences.

  • Help define user needs, product requirements, and use cases.

  • Create visual concepts, presentations, and product recommendations.

  • Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders.

  • Use AI and analytics tools to improve research and decision-making.


Education

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in:



  • Computer Science

  • Business Administration

  • Marketing


Required Skills


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Interest in product management and technology products.

  • Experience with data analysis and research.

  • Understanding of user-centered design and UX/UI principles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to organize work and collaborate across teams.

  • Proficiency with standard productivity software.

The pay range for this position is $29 to $33 per hour (applies to US candidates only).Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
