What You’ll Do:

Personal Care Assistants are compassionate and dedicated individuals with a calling to make a positive impact on the lives of others. You will provide hands‑on support with daily activities and foster a warm and nurturing atmosphere for our residents. This entry‑level position also offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn more about long‑term care and its many career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with non‑medical, activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide meal planning, preparation, and feeding as required
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Foster meaningful connections with residents, offering emotional support, companionship, and a listening ear
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to contribute to resident care plans and provide input on individualized care needs
  • Monitor and ensure the safety and well‑being of residents, promptly reporting any concerns or changes in health status
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any observations, contributing to the overall assessment of resident needs

Rate of Pay

Starting from USD $18.44/Hr.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications of a Home Health Aide includes:

  • PCA / PSS Certification or equivalent
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
