Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Personal Shopper for curbside service to assist guests with online grocery orders and in-store support. You will ensure accurate order selection, bagging, and staging for pickup, while delivering outstanding guest service with a positive attitude.

The role emphasizes safety, use of technology, and collaboration with team members to provide a seamless shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Working towards a high school diploma; Retail or grocery experience
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 16 years of age

Responsibilities

• Display a passion about shopping for others (shop as though you are shopping for someone you love) and understand the store and vast array of product offerings.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of our work, for our Team Members, guests, and products.
• Accurately select, bag and stage grocery orders for guests.
• Provide unparalleled guest service, constantly striving to delight and surprise our guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Assist with the collection, loading and acceptance of payment for customer pick-up and delivery orders.
• Provide assistance with online grocery customers via the phone and in-person.
• Inspire your fellow Team Members and our guests with a willingness to go the 'Extra Mile' to provide the best service
• Demonstrate proficiency and efficient use of technology, including the Internet
• Accurately select, bag and stage grocery orders for guests.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency while performing job tasks
• Proficient use of mobile phone apps and texting
