Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Digital Clerk to turn online orders into easy, reliable curbside pickups with an accurate carside experience. This role helps drive customer loyalty by speed and service.

You’ll greet customers, fulfill orders from the store, scan and bag items, and maintain a clean curbside area. Training is provided; 1 year retail or cashier experience is preferred; physical tasks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during shift.
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items using bagging standards.
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep the curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
