Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living in Summerville, SC is hiring Personal Services Assistants (PSAs) to provide hands-on care for our senior residents. If you’re compassionate and dependable, we’d love to meet you.

As a PSA you’ll assist with activities of daily living, meals, light housekeeping, and documentation, while following safety guidelines and communicating with residents and families. Training is provided; CPR/First Aid preferred or willing to obtain; lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver, CNA, or senior living experience preferred (training provided).
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support meals, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Communicate compassionately with residents, families, and team members.
