Personal Lines Underwriting Supervisor Remote

Location: Remote | Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 / Annual

Description

Ensures the profitability and growth of personal lines business, including:

1. Supervises the underwriting function to ensure timely processing, proper risk selection, and monitoring of renewal business.
2. Works with staff to build and maintain agency relationships.
3. Manages complex underwriting inquiries, reviews, and approves risks beyond the authority of staff.
4. Collaborates with the field marketing team to resolve service and other issues.
5. Oversees the handling of customer inquiries and complaints.
6. Supervises a team of underwriters, ensuring adherence to underwriting policies.
7. Recommends and communicates goals and results.
8. Develops and recommends operational plans and procedures.
9. Responsible for training, coaching, and leading staff.
10. Prepares performance appraisals and conducts review meetings.
11. Offers 100% health insurance coverage.
12. Minimum of 5 years experience in personal lines underwriting and 1 year in a supervisory role.
