Job summary

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated carrier, is seeking an entry level motivated individual to join our team for the summer. The position requires learning insurance coverages and contracts, understanding company philosophy and procedures, and making underwriting decisions.

You will analyze loss experience and risks, become familiar with policies, forms and endorsements, and communicate with independent agents and other employees through verbal and written means.

Qualifications

• Students should be currently enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college.
• Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently.
• Above-average communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to resolve complex issues.
• An interest in developing product knowledge through participation in approved educational programs.

Rate of Pay

Rate of pay starts at $18.00 per hour.
