Job summary

Univest Insurance in Lansdale, PA is seeking a Personal Lines Practice Leader to guide our personal lines team. You’ll coach staff, strengthen carrier relationships, and drive growth across our personal lines portfolio.

You will monitor performance, set goals, ensure compliance, and collaborate with agency leadership to align with corporate initiatives. Prior personal lines underwriting knowledge and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years Agency or Carrier experience.
Current Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License.
Thorough knowledge of personal lines underwriting and coverage forms.
Insurance designation a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead department performance toward customer retention and new business goals.
Manage staff with clear performance expectations and regular feedback.
Hold regular department meetings and review reports.
Ensure compliance with personal lines procedures and insurance laws.
Provide training and guidance to staff; support carrier relationships.
Schedule carrier meetings and participate in carrier training.
Collaborate with agency leadership to align with business plans and initiatives.
