Job summary

SSFCU is seeking an insurance professional to prospect, quote, and sell Personal Lines to members and non-members, building relationships and meeting sales goals in a fast-paced environment.

You will prepare proposals, process applications, use Vertafore/AMS360, and maintain accuracy while meeting call volume and compliance standards. A high school diploma and 3+ years' insurance sales experience with a Property & Casualty license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) year of insurance sales experience.
• Property & Casualty License.
• Experience using Vertafore/AMS360 Agency Management System.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing to explain complex issues and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately.
• Able to perform a large number of steps in complex system with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, quote, and sell Personal Lines insurance products to SSFCU members and non-members.
• Meet and exceed individual sales goals as established by leadership.
• Manage multiple inbound and outbound lead opportunities with timely follow-up.
• Prepare insurance proposals from multiple carriers using an automated rating system.
• Submit applications and related documentation to appropriate markets.
• Develop relationships with members by reviewing missed opportunities on unsold leads to complete the sales process with accuracy.
