Job summary

Shepherd Insurance, a privately owned agency delivering risk management solutions since 1977, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to support insurance advisors handling new and renewal personal lines business.

You will provide high-level client service, assist with marketing and proposals, cross-sell, manage policy coverage questions, and maintain timely follow-ups using agency systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• State licensing certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines coverages, forms and rating systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, prompt, and accurate service to clients.
• Assist in marketing new and renewal personal lines business and prepare proposals.
• Support advisors with cross-selling and account rounding.
• Handle client inquiries about policy coverage, claims, or administrative needs.
• Maintain a suspense system for follow-ups and overdue items.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.
