Job summary

Valley West Insurance is seeking a Personal Lines Producer in Las Vegas to grow the book of business by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing clients. You will handle quotes, coverage selections, and policy education to ensure optimal protection and client satisfaction.

You will identify opportunities across in-person, online, and outbound channels, maintaining timely quotations and professional account support.

Qualifications

• Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of two years of personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain an existing client base.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
• Actively prospect round accounts, and solicit increases in existing client coverage as well as network for new clients, including win backs.
• Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up with inspection, photos, and other documentation.
• Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates.
• Support and prepare clients for renewal and retention, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved and execute sales activity documentation.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions.
