Job summary

BayCoast Insurance in Swansea, MA is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join our Quick Assistance Team—the frontline of our agency. You’ll be the first voice our clients hear when they call or visit, handling requests and routing to the right person.

You’ll work closely with Account Managers and Producers to keep service moving, manage binder requests, billing questions, changes, and other quick-turn tasks while delivering friendly, efficient support to our clients.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, especially on the phone.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
• Good judgement on when to resolve or elevate a call.
• Comfort using computer systems and learning new software.
• Prior insurance experience is a plus, but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and walk-ins to the agency.
• Identify why the customer is calling and route to the right person.
• Handle requests or transfer to appropriate team.
• Process binder requests, payments and billing questions, and changes.
• Document every call and transaction in the agency system.
