Brown & Brown in Meridian, ID is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to join a growing team. This role handles high-volume calls for quotes, changes, and new policies, ensuring timely processing and accurate responses.

You will place coverage decisions, process endorsements, and assist with certificates and premium collections while maintaining exceptional customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, OneNote, etc.).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• 6 months P&C insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client requests and questions in a high-volume call center.
• Provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service.
• Assist in production of new/enhanced accounts and retention of existing accounts.
• Complete changes/requests within 24 hours of receipt.
• Determine acceptability and placement of coverage; process applications or endorsements.
• Handle certificates of insurance or auto ID cards; review terminations and cancellations.
• Assist with premium collection and policy cancellations when needed.
• Provide training and support to new team members.

Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service. Assists in the production of new/enhanced accounts and retention of existing accounts.How You Will Contribute:Receives phone calls requesting quotes, changes to existing coverage and/or new policies and asking questions.
