Hilb Group in Peterborough, NH is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our in-office team. The role reports to the agency in Peterborough, NH and focuses on servicing an assigned book of business with a client-first mindset.

You will manage client inquiries, endorsements, and billing while coordinating with carriers to ensure smooth, accurate policy administration and renewal pricing when needed. This position emphasizes teamwork, organization, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree.
• 3+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales in the p&c insurance industry
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate via phone or email
• Superior listening skills and ability to probe customer needs and opportunities through question-based selling and retention techniques
• Self-directed with good decision making and time management skills
• Proficient PC skills; knowledge of insurance software including AMS360

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business acting as the primary client relationship manager with responsibility for overall account servicing and maintenance
• Handle inquiries regarding insurance coverages, policy changes and general insurance questions as related to lines of business
• Handle billing, service and endorsement requests and process necessary paperwork associated with requested
• Act as liaison between customer and carrier working closely with both to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship
• Handle renewal/expiration list for assigned book of business, reviewing loss information, obtaining updated information, renewal applications, and negotiating renewal pricing when necessary
• Maintain knowledge of all company systems and offerings
