Job summary

The J. Morey Company, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager, Personal Lines in California.

This role focuses on managing and servicing an assigned book of personal insurance clients while supporting retention and growth of agency relationships. You will collaborate with clients, carriers, and teammates to deliver proactive service and appropriate coverage. The ideal candidate has a CA license, at least 3 years in Personal Lines, strong communication, and organizational skills, with experience in

Qualifications

• Active California Property & Casualty License required.
• Minimum 3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience.
• Experience managing a Personal Lines book of business.
• Strong understanding of personal insurance coverages including Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella, Renters, Condominium, and Recreational Vehicle policies.
• Experience working directly with insurance carriers and clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned personal insurance clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Advise clients regarding policy changes, coverage options, endorsements, billing questions, and insurance solutions.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, evidence of insurance, and other servicing requests.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Assist clients with claims reporting and coordinate with carriers to support the claims process.
• Maintain complete and accurate client records within the agency management system.
