Job summary

The J. Morey Company - an Ori-gen Family Company is seeking an Account Manager, Personal Lines to manage a book of personal insurance clients and support agency relationships.

You will deliver proactive service, coordinate renewals, review coverage needs, and provide insurance solutions aligned with client goals. The ideal candidate holds a California P&C license, has at least 3 years in personal lines, and excels at client communication, detail orientation, and building long-term relationships

Qualifications

• Active California Property & Casualty License required.
• Minimum 3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience.
• Experience managing a Personal Lines book of business.
• Strong understanding of Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella, Renters, Condo, and RV coverages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned personal insurance clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Advise clients regarding policy changes, coverage options, endorsements, billing questions, and insurance solutions.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, evidence of insurance, and other servicing requests.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
• Assist clients with claims reporting and coordinate with carriers to support the claims process.
• Maintain complete and accurate client records within the agency management system.
