Job summary

The J. Morey Company, an Ori-gen Family Company, is seeking an Account Manager for Personal Lines in California. You will manage an assigned book of personal insurance clients, coordinate renewals, and deliver proactive service while supporting retention of agency relationships.

The role emphasizes detailed client service, technical coverage analysis, and collaboration with carriers to provide optimal solutions. A CA P&C license and 3+ years of Personal Lines experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California P&C license required.
• Minimum 3 years of Personal Lines insurance experience.
• Experience managing a Personal Lines book of business.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned personal insurance clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Advise clients regarding policy changes, coverage options, endorsements, billing questions, and insurance solutions.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, evidence of insurance, and other servicing requests.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone and email.
• Assist clients with claims reporting and coordinate with carriers to support the claims process.
• Maintain complete and accurate client records within the agency management system.
