Job summary

LEI Cross Financial Corp is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to service personal lines insurance policies and build strong client relationships. The role requires maintaining a Property & Casualty license and excellent communication skills while working with underwriters and clients.

Personal Lines Account Manager

Account Managers are primarily responsible for servicing personal lines insurance policies (new and renewal) while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a Property & Casualty license and keep up with Continuing Education.
• Understand and follow the Cross Basic Procedure Manual.
• Understand and follow the Personal Lines Workflow Manual.
• Use only approved Action Codes in Applied‑Epic.
• Follow up and complete open suspense’s daily.
• Service and sell personal insurance products to prospective and existing clients.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with company personnel (underwriters, marketing representatives, company service center, and claims representatives).
• Provide quality customer service to existing and prospective clients.
• Proactively retain accounts when applicable.
• Stay up-to-date on new insurance products and market/industry trends.
• Understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.
• Demonstrate strong written, oral and phone communication skills.
• Organize, set, and maintain priorities.
• Have working knowledge and/or experience with Applied, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams), and PL Rater.
• Collect payment information, upload payments to various company websites, and record activity notes in Applied.
• Meet annual sales goal.
• Service an average size book of business.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $50,000.00–$60,000.00 annually. Compensation will be based on location, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition, Cross Insurance offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and more.
