Job summary

CareerXchange is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager in the Blue Lagoon area of Miami, FL to join our team. The role focuses on managing a portfolio of personal lines accounts and delivering outstanding service throughout the policy lifecycle.

You will handle quotes, renewals, endorsements, and billing inquiries while reviewing coverage options to meet clients' needs. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and knowledge of Applied Epic is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal lines insurance or similar role.
• Knowledge of homeowners, auto, condo, renters, and umbrella policies.
• Active Florida license preferred (2-20 or 20-44).

About the Opportunity

An established insurance agency in the Blue Lagoon area of Miami is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join its team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in personal lines insurance, with the ability to manage client relationships and provide outstanding service throughout the policy lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, including homeowners, auto, condominium, renters, and umbrella policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters.
• Process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy changes.
• Review policies and coverage options to ensure clients' insurance needs are met.
• Prepare insurance quotes, proposals, and renewal presentations.
• Assist clients with billing inquiries, coverage questions, and policy documentation.
• Follow up on renewals, outstanding documentation, and underwriting requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with agency procedures.
• Identify opportunities to offer additional coverage and enhance client retention.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager or in a similar insurance agency role.
• Knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverage, and policy servicing.
• Active Florida 2-20 or 20-44 insurance license preferred.
• Experience with agency management systems; Applied Epic experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
