Job summary

The Hilb Group in Bellville, TX is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our in-office team. The role requires a TX Property & Casualty license, strong organization, and the ability to work collaboratively to retain and grow client accounts.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or higher, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as a plus, and prior insurance sales or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed to write Property & Casualty insurance in Texas.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Experience in insurance sales or customer service is preferred.
• Must be highly motivated, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understanding products, procedures and best practices to remain focused on retention.
• Discussing product offerings with potential customers.
• Provide elite customer service to our loyal customer base.
• Follow agency standards related to agency management system maintenance.
• Continuing to maintain and develop knowledge of Insurance products and services.

The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

• Understanding products, procedures and best practices to remain focused on retention
• Discussing product offerings with potential customers
• Able to work efficiently while remaining thorough and accurate
• Providing elite customer service to our loyal customer base
• Follow agency standards related to agency management system maintenance
• Continuing to maintain and develop knowledge of Insurance products and services
• Supporting efforts to increase growth through the rounding out of current accounts

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to write Property & Casualty insurance in Texas
• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, a plus
• Previous Insurance sales, customer service, or related experience
• Highly motivated, organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Experience with Windows-based computer applications
• Able to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• A strong attention to detail and strive to be error free
• Self-starter that is able to complete tasks independently
• Reliable and timely attendance day in and day out
