Job summary

WAFD Insurance Group is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager in Albuquerque. You will be the primary contact for policyholders, helping them understand coverage options and answer questions with care.

You will process renewals and policy changes while advocating for clients with carriers to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance license for New Mexico (applicable state license).
• Experience: 1+ years managing personal lines insurance accounts.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and carrier portals.
• Knowledge of homeowners, auto, and umbrella coverages.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for policyholders and explain coverage options with care.
• Prepare and process renewals, endorsements and policy changes with accuracy.
• Advocate for clients with carriers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Review policies to identify gaps and suggest better protection for clients.
• Maintain organized client files reflecting latest coverage needs.
• Contribute to a collaborative office culture by sharing insights with teammates.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for our policyholders, helping them understand their coverage options and answering their questions with care.

Requirements

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License for the state of New Mexico.

1 or more years of experience managing personal lines insurance accounts.

Strong command of agency management systems and carrier portals.

Deep knowledge of homeowners, auto, and umbrella insurance coverages.

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
