Job summary

Starke Agency seeks a Personal Lines Account Advisor in Alabama to perform day-to-day policy service, develop coverage options, and remarket accounts. The role requires strong customer service, organization, and teamwork, with a hybrid schedule after training.

Ideal candidates may hold a P&C license (or obtain within 90 days) and possess proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. Insurance experience is preferred, with growth opportunities and a competitive pay structure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, required.
• Active P&C license, or obtain within 90 days, required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, required.
• Previous insurance experience, preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
• Experience with EPIC or insurer websites, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day customer and policy service on accounts.
• Develop, quote, and process additional lines of coverage for existing customers.
• Remarket existing Personal Lines customers as needed.
• Maintain, review, and update Expiration Lists monthly for renewals, processing renewals and updating policy information as necessary.
• Process endorsements for customers and maintain suspense system for follow-up.
• Provide prompt, professional, courteous service to customers.
• Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills and continuing education requirements

Currently seeking a Personal Lines Account Advisor for an exciting opportunity at the Starke Agency, located in Montgomery and Auburn, AL. The ideal candidate will be well organized, motivated to succeed, and work well in a team environment. A hybrid work schedule is offered after training is completed.

Duties:

• Perform day-to-day customer and policy service on accounts
• Develop, quote, and process additional lines of coverage for existing customers.
• Remarket existing Personal Lines customers as needed
• Maintain, review, and update Expiration Lists monthly for renewals, processing renewals and updating policy information as necessary
• Process endorsements for customers and maintain suspense system for follow-up
• Provide prompt, professional, courteous service to customers
• Assist other Personal Lines teammates (and claims) as necessary during vacation, illness, etc.
• Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills and continuing education requirements
