Job summary

Marsh, a Marsh & McLennan Agency, is seeking a Renewal Specialist to manage policy reviews, changes, and renewals for existing clients. You will educate clients, make recommendations, and ensure timely carrier submissions with accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a Property and Casualty license within 75 days of onboarding and at least 7 years of relevant experience. Hybrid work arrangements are available, with a base salary ranging from $54,700 to $101,900.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty License must be obtained within 75 days of the first day of New Hire Onboarding
• At least 7 years of relevant experience
• Applicable industry designations preferred
• The employee is responsible for adherence to the stated expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program

Responsibilities

• Receive policy review requests, changes to existing coverage, and new policies; inform and educate clients to aid retention
• Knowledge of rating and underwriting procedures for all carriers; use rating software and carrier websites; prepare client proposals and submissions
• Handle all client interactions with high level of customer service to ensure satisfaction and timely procedures
• Follow procedures for management tracking and meet monthly team goals
• Back-up alternate new business sales team when needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Handle carrier client consolidation projects per set procedures

What You Do

• Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting policy review, changes to existing coverage, and/or new policies. Inform, educate, and make recommendations and/or changes timely to aid in retention.
• Knowledge of rating and underwriting procedures for all carriers including rating software and carrier websites. Utilize download reports for proactive client contact. Determine acceptability and prepare client proposals and carrier submissions following guidelines and divisional procedures.
• Handle all client interactions with high level of customer service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction at every service contact while maintaining a concern for timeliness & procedure compliance in agency management system and carrier websites.
• Follow all procedures for management tracking and meet monthly pre-established team goals
• Handle any carrier client consolidation project per set procedures.
• Back-up alternate new business sales team when needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Education and Experience

Required

The applicable base salary range for this role is $54,700 to $101,900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
