Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing plaintiff’s practice. You will handle motor vehicle liability and related cases in litigation, with trial prep and trial responsibilities, while focusing on client advocacy and strategic case development.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an accredited law school, is admitted to the TX State Bar, and brings 3+ years of PI/auto liability experience.

Qualifications

• J.D./JD/Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active TX State Bar license in good standing.
• Ideally 3+ years of Personal Injury/auto liability experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases and meet deadlines.
• Excellent client service and strong writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of litigation cases
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
