Responsabilités

• Overseeing pre-litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and efficient outcomes for our clients.
• Collaborating closely with case managers and the pre-litigation team to monitor case progress and client treatment.
• Managing client treatment plans to ensure appropriate care is being received throughout the pre-litigation process.
• Evaluating cases and identifying opportunities for early resolution through quick demands and strategic negotiations.
• Conducting early-stage negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing parties to achieve favorable pre-litigation settlements.
• Communicating effectively with clients, providing guidance and updates throughout the pre-litigation process.
• Reviewing medical records and documentation to assess case value and determine the best resolution strategy.

We are looking for a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney with a fervent desire to champion the rights of those injured. The Opportunity

In this role, you'll take ownership of high-value pre-litigation cases including wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims and drive them toward the strongest possible resolution for our clients.

Accountable For

• Manage a significant caseload and work closely with a team of case managers and assistants.
• Work directly with our case management, medical records, demands/negotiation, and liens departments.
• Communicate and convey legal strategy, case status, and treatment updates to clients and insurance carriers.
• Evaluate cases and identify opportunities for early resolution through quick demands and strategic negotiation.
• Review lien and subrogation resolutions including hospital, health plan, Medicare, and Medicaid liens to protect our clients' net recovery.
• Develop skills and understanding of the personal injury pre-litigation process from a team of highly experienced Supervising Attorneys.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Strong analytical and legal research skills.
• Creative and strategic thinker who thrives under pressure in a face paced, high-stakes caseload.
• Highly organized, with the discipline to manage time and priorities independently.
• Personable and proactive, with a genuine can-do attitude towards clients and colleagues alike.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and comfort with case management software and modern legal technology.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a huge plus.

Compensation

• $125,000 - $250,000 base salary depending on experience, plus uncapped performance-based bonuses.
