Herrman & Herrman, PLLC, a personal injury and car accident law firm, seeks a Pre-Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of experience to join our Corpus Christi office.

This full-time role requires Texas license, strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to move cases forward independently, including discovery, depositions, and trials when needed. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 401(k), health, life and vision insurance, with a $5k sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in Texas and graduate from an accredited law school.
• Be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.
• Must communicate effectively with excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing their docket of personal injury cases.
• Filing lawsuits.
• Draft and answer discovery.
• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials.
• Evaluating claims by working with claims representatives.
• Working in a team environment with paralegals and legal secretaries to propound written discovery requests and responses, order and summarize records, coordinate depositions, obtain experts and prepare for depositions and trials.
