Overview

Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney role for Herrman & Herrman, PLLC: Personal Injury & Car Accident Law Firm in Corpus Christi, TX. Responsibilities

• Managing a docket of personal injury cases
• Filing lawsuits
• Drafting and answering discovery
• Preparing clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials
• Evaluating claims with claims representatives
• Collaborating with paralegals and legal secretaries to propound and respond to written discovery, order and summarize records, coordinate depositions, obtain experts, and prepare for depositions and trials

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Texas; member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas
• Graduated from an accredited law school
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong negotiating skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage and move pending cases forward independently and litigate to trial when necessary
• 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience with strong litigation skills (discovery, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation) preferred

• Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
