Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group in Cambridge, MA seeks a Personal Injury Paralegal to support our attorneys by managing case files, drafting documents, and coordinating with clients. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and compassionate client service.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies, a paralegal certification is a plus, and at least five years' PI paralegal experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field preferred.
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to communicate with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Document management: Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and client correspondence
• Case file organization: Maintain and manage active case files and ensure documentation is available for attorneys and clients
• Discovery and evidence: Assist in the discovery process, gather evidence, summarize documents, organize materials
• Client interaction: Serve as liaison between clients and attorneys with professionalism and compassion
• Calendar management: Track deadlines and manage the legal calendar for hearings and depositions
• Trial preparation: Assist in preparing exhibits and trial materials
• Legal research: Conduct research and prepare case summaries or reports
