Job summary

Confidential Employer in Atlanta, GA seeks an attorney with a focus on personal injury litigation to manage matters from filing to trial. You will develop case strategy, take depositions, draft motions, and advocate for clients while coordinating with clients, insurers, and experts.

We value strong communication, independent case management, and teamwork. A Georgia Bar in good standing and 2+ years PI experience are required; hybrid work after the intro period is offered.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of personal injury law experience.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Strong litigation, legal research, writing, negotiation, and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with a litigation team.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Commercial motor vehicle or trucking litigation experience is a plus.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience supervising or leading legal support staff is preferred.
• Familiarity with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable legal research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury litigation matters from lawsuit filing through resolution or trial.
• Develop case strategy, draft and respond to discovery, prepare and conduct depositions, and handle motions and court appearances.
• Build strong relationships with clients while communicating regularly with adjusters, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
• Prepare cases for trial and confidently advocate for clients throughout the litigation process.
• Lead and collaborate with a litigation support team to keep cases moving efficiently and strategically.
• Evaluate claims, damages, liability, evidence, and settlement opportunities.
• Apply pre-litigation case management and negotiation experience when appropriate.
• Handle matters involving commercial motor vehicles and expand your expertise in trucking litigation.
• Work independently while remaining accountable to clients, your team, and case deadlines.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail, organization, responsiveness, and professional judgment.
