Confidential Employer in McAllen, TX is seeking a skilled personal injury litigation attorney to join our client-focused firm. You will manage personal injury cases from evaluation through settlement or litigation and take charge of case strategy, negotiations, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has an active Texas Bar license, 2+ years of civil litigation experience (3–7 preferred), and familiarity with trial procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years civil litigation experience; 3–7 years preferred.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, motions, and hearings.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating with a team.
• Spanish/English bilingual proficiency is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Clio or Lawmatics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from initial evaluation through settlement or litigation.
• Develop case strategies, investigate claims, and evaluate liability and damages.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, and settlement documents.
• Build strong client relationships with clear communication throughout the process.
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff to move cases forward efficiently.
• Manage deadlines and case documentation using modern legal technology.
