Job summary

Law Offices of Anthony Ellis, a Calabasas-based personal injury litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys on an active caseload. This hands-on role requires familiarity with the PI litigation process and the ability to manage cases with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
• Knowledge of California civil procedure and filing in state court.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from complaint through trial.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
• Calendar and track court deadlines, hearings, and discovery cutoffs.
• E-file and serve documents in California state court.
• Request, organize, and summarize medical records and bills.
• Schedule depositions, IMEs, and mediations, and coordinate with court reporters and experts.
• Prepare deposition, mediation, and trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters.
