Slocumb Law Firm in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This on-site, full-time role requires a minimum of 2 years of PI litigation and active bar admissions in DC and Maryland.

You will manage cases from intake through trial, handle discovery, depositions, and motions, and develop litigation strategies while maintaining strong client communication and professional conduct in a high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar admissions in DC and Maryland are required.
• Strong PI litigation background with at least 2 years hands-on experience.
• Ability to manage a full inventory of pre-litigation and litigation cases.
• Excellent advocacy, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent client communication and case management abilities.

Personal Injury Litigation Attorney – Washington, DC Full-Time | On-Site | Washington, DC Join one of the fastest-growing Personal Injury litigation firms in the U.S. Slocumb Law Firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our team in Washington, DC. We are looking for an attorney with a proven background in Personal Injury litigation, strong case management capabilities, and the ability to independently handle complex litigation matters. IMPORTANT: A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF PERSONAL INJURY (PI) LITIGATION EXPERIENCE AND ACTIVE BAR ADMISSIONS IN BOTH WASHINGTON, DC AND MARYLAND ARE REQUIRED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington, DC Bar admission and good standing — REQUIRED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE.
• Active Maryland Bar admission and good standing — REQUIRED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE.
• Active Virginia Bar admission — STRONGLY PREFERRED, but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Personal Injury (PI) litigation experience — REQUIRED AND NON-NEGOTIABLE.
• Proven experience handling Personal Injury cases, including litigation strategy, discovery, depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations.
• Ability to independently manage a full inventory of both pre-litigation and litigation cases.
• Strong advocacy, legal writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent client communication and case management abilities.
• Results-driven mindset and strong professional judgment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment.

• You do not have at least 2 years of Personal Injury litigation experience.
• You are not actively licensed and in good standing in BOTH Washington, DC and Maryland.
• Your legal experience is exclusively in practice areas unrelated to Personal Injury.
