Atrium is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a growing team. The role offers a fully remote arrangement with a starting salary of $100k+ per year, plus commission and performance-based bonuses. Ideal candidates will handle cases from inception to resolution, negotiate settlements, and prepare for trial while collaborating with paralegals and staff.

Active bar licensure in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required; residence in VA, NM, WV, AZ, or MN is specified.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Hands-on litigation experience, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working with a team.
• Strong client-service orientation and commitment to favorable outcomes.
• Must reside in Virginia, New Mexico, West Virginia, Arizona, or Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from filing through settlement, trial, or verdict.
• Evaluate cases, perform legal research, liability assessments, and damages analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions; participate in hearings, mediations, and settlements.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Develop litigation strategies for trial and prepare cases for trial.
• Maintain communication with clients regarding progress, strategy, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff to advance cases efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and court procedures.
