Confidential Employer in Houston, TX seeks an experienced plaintiff personal injury litigation attorney to independently manage a docket from filing through trial. The role offers autonomy on complex cases, opportunity to handle motor vehicle and premises liability matters, and active involvement in strategy, depositions, hearings, and negotiations.

Applicants must be admitted to the Texas Bar and have at least 2 years of plaintiff PI experience, including first or second chair trial exposure.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license required.
• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• First or second chair trial experience required.
• Ability to independently manage litigation files through trial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong deposition, negotiation, and courtroom skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from filing through trial.
• Handle motor vehicle accident, premises liability, and other personal injury matters.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate claims.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial materials.
• Serve as first or second chair at trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver outstanding client representation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year

Location: Houston, Texas (South Houston) — this is a full-time, fully on-site position where you’ll collaborate closely with an experienced litigation team.
